In preparation for the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency program interviews, our first annual newsletter was created to provide more information regarding the newest information pertaining to our program.
The Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program at Jersey City Medical Center Barnabas Health is an Osteopathic Residency Program and a member of the American Osteopathic Association. We have formed our Orthopaedic Surgery ACGME Accreditation Committee, which is currently in the process of preparing our ACGME accreditation application with an anticipated submission for pre-accreditation this coming Spring of 2016. Pre-accreditation status allows our graduates to participate in ACGME accredited fellowship programs as well as participate in the Certificate of Additional Qualification (CAQ) in certain Orthopaedic sub-specialties.
Jersey City Medical Center Barnabas Health is proud to announce the opening of The Orthopaedic Institute. This endeavor includes a dedicated Orthopaedic wing with specialized nurses certified in Orthopaedic nursing, as well as numerous private rooms for our patients to recover from their surgery.
