Education Conferences

Monday Indications Conference

5-6:00pm

On Monday evenings, Dr. Liporace moderates a case conference with a group of residents, reviewing preoperative cases and their surgical indications.

Wednesday Education Conference

6:30-10:00am

On Wednesday mornings, the residents hold a fracture conference to review teaching cases from the prior night's call, which is moderated by the chief resident and on-call attending.  The remainder of the education conference consists of resident-directed learning from presentations based on orthopedic textbooks, review books, review articles, scientific articles as well as OITE practice questions. 

Thursday Education Conference

6:30-8:00am

This weekly conference consists of an attending lecture and resident case and topic presentation with JCMC orthopedic attendings, residents and PAs.
